The joint accounts were hers. Everything else was decided in court, between his mother and their child. She was neither. None of that required a dispute or bad intentions. It only required the absence of documents.

The wife couldn't even pick up the body. Right? It's not even about the money now. It's about what you want, the dignity.
So the mother was in charge of everything. And now, whatever the wife was on, the accounts, joint accounts, she could have access to. But everything else was decided in court between the mother and the child.
Of course the mother, the wife, will be the guardian for the child. But why? It is so unnecessary, and it's so hurtful. And people don't think about these little things that hurt them in the long run.
